PIE LIMITED PARKING ADVISORY

PIE Parking is limited.  We encourage outbound passengers to get a ride to the airport.  June and July are our busiest months and all parking lots reach capacity.

Parking – If you must park at PIE, plan for extra time to park in the Economy Lots and take the complimentary shuttle to the terminal.  Check parking maps, rates, and transportation information at fly2pie.com/parking.

  • Overnight parking is not permitted in the Cell Phone Lot.  Vehicles will be towed.
  • Overnight parking is not permitted in Short-term Parking; vehicles may be towed.  Cost is $24 per day, and no refunds will be given when long-term parking is full.  All vehicles should proceed to the Economy Lot in use.

Picking Up Passengers

  • Use the free Cell Phone Lot while waiting for arriving passengers.
  • Curbside areas are for active loading and unloading only.
  • Drivers must remain with their vehicles at all times. Unattended vehicles may be fined and towed.

Airline & Terminal Tips

  • Arrive at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure.
  • PIE has two separate gate areas (Gates 2–6 and Gates 7–11) that are not connected. Verify your gate location before proceeding through security.
  • Be at your gate and ready to board at least 50 minutes before departure.
  • Check directly with your airline for flight updates and carry-on bag requirements:
  • Wheelchair assistance should be arranged through your airline.

  • REAL ID-compliant identification is required for travelers age 18 and older.
  • TSA PreCheck travelers should confirm the TSA PreCheck indicator appears on their boarding pass.
  • Firearms and ammunition are prohibited in carry-on bags and must be properly declared in checked baggage.
  • Pack smart and review TSA’s “What Can I Bring?” guidance before traveling.
  • Allow extra time for parking, check-in, baggage drop, and security screening.
  • Follow instructions from TSA officers and airport staff to help keep lines moving safely and efficiently.
  • If you need special assistance with screening, contact TSACares at least 72 hours before your flight.
