St. Pete-Clearwater International (PIE) offers various services and amenities to enhance your travel experience.
In Gates 7-11, the kids will enjoy being the pilot with aerial videos and building airplanes and more in our Air Traffic Control Tower. Learn about flight and its history in this play zone designed in partnership with Great Explorations Children’s Museum.
In Gates 2-6, explore travel destinations and learn more about their environment, wildlife, and culture in video selections.
PIE is home to a vibrant collection of renowned Florida artists as well as a 45-foot blown and painted glass at our main entrance. Enjoy works in glass, wood, metals, ceramics, mixed media, and paintings throughout the terminal. Temporary exhibits by featured artists will also be on display in partnership with the Morean Art Center of St. Petersburg.
Historical exhibits at PIE include the Benoist aircraft handing in Bag Claim, a replica of the aircraft from the historic first commercial flight by Tony Jannus in 1914 here in Tampa Bay. Also, on display, General Howard Exhibit, the last commander of Pinellas Army Airfield built in 1941 as a WWII military training base before becoming PIE.
