The list of impressive Florida artists showcased throughout PIE’s facility includes Misao Adachi, Charles Gatewood, Susan Rollins Gehring, Ilena Grayson, June Harban, Larry Hasiak, Voshardt/Humphrey, Greg Jones, Lloyd Jones, Guy Kemper, Mary Klein, Duncan McClellan, Laurance Miller, Melissa Miller Nece, Kelly Taaffe Noto, Laura Pieper, Largo Cracker Quilters, Robert Schott, Kerri Silvermell, Celeste Simon, Margaret Steward and Catherine Woods.
Some examples of the distinctive work that sets PIE apart are:
- Kentucky glass artist Guy Kemper’s 45-foot long glass wall at PIE’s main entrance, created in 2009.
- Glass vessels by local artist Duncan McClellan, part of the Pinellas County Public Art Collection.
- Several cloisonné pieces by Mary Klein in the departure lounges, featuring beach scenes and other views to remind travelers of what they will miss when they depart PIE.
- Terrazzo tile inserts by Kelly Taaffe Noto, highlighting details of our famous beaches.
